This concert will transport you back in time to the St Petersburg Theatre to see the recent productions by Kornakov, Slonimsky, and Schmitz, combined with some scenes from the opera Carmen. Piano, percussion, and polka dance with evil rats!

Ce concert vous transportera dans le temps jusqu’au théatre de Saint-Petersbourg afin d’y voir les productions récentes de Kornakov, Slonimsky et Schmitz, combinés avec une mise en scène de l’Opéra Carmen. Du piano, des percussions et même une danse polka de rats maléfiques!

From the Old World to the New and back again, this concert programme unites Poulenc's French Sextet with Fine's American Partita, and finishes with a piano and wind quintet arrangement of the Hungarian-influenced 4th movement of Brahms' seminal Op. 25.

Ce programme qui constitue un aller-retour entre l'Ancien et le Nouveau monde unit le Sextuour français de Poulenc et la Partita américaine de Fine et se termine par un arrangement pour piano et quintette à vent du Quatrième mouvement de l’oeuvre emblématique op.25 de Brahms, influencé par la Hongrie.
