Concert Review
On June 29th a large and appreciative audience enjoyed a ravishing concert of 1930s music for flute and piano. Jonathan Bailey (flute) and Donald Pistolesi (piano) complemented each other beautifully in a fascinating program of music including works by little-known composers such as Piston and Bozza, as well as more established pieces from Elgar, Ravel and Vaughan Williams. We look forward eagerly to the next collaboration between these two superb players.
